this item is exactly 40mm hence requires a "Solvent Weld Straight Coupling" to be able to attach to a 40mm pipe.
design can improve to make it a bit bigger so as to sit on the pipe easily.

I used this to connect 21.5 condensate pipe from boiler into the existing 40mm waste. Worked perfectly.

This is designed to fit inside a 40mm solvent weld joint and is too big for a push-fit joint. A more versatile product is by Flowplast which fits both 40mm solvent and push-fit, by having a stepped design.

Decent quality reducer for solvent weld overflow pipe into 32mm waste. Perfect for boiler condensate. 21mm socket is offset from the centre which allows for adjustment.
Its a reducer what more is there to say! Good quality and with all Aquaflow products its walls are thick.
