It’s a really useful tool for working with masonry in corners but it appears that its coating wears off and leaves a white smudge on the surface of dark (non grey or white) masonry.
Did exactly what i needed it to do without any problems.
This is ideal tool for removing tile adhesive it cuts through adhesive like a knife
Abit dusty but ware all the safety gear first nice neat job
Not a bad tool. Works fine with my Dewalt multitool.
Tough but also controllable surface removal, more convenient than constantly replacing sandpaper pads.
This item removes multiple paint layers at once. I used it on wooden surface - the soffit and facia of the house. It really cut down the time. Better than liquid paint strippers and sand paper. Highly recommend!
This is based on a single item in isolation and may not be representative of the product in general. This product Is effective when used with a multitool to abrade surfaces.
Unfortunately, after a few hours of use the central attachment point failed and some of the fixing point broke. This is the reason for only giving a three star review. The product has still got plenty of material that hadn’t worn off, and if it wasn’t for the central attachment point failure, then I would still be using it.
It represented reasonable value for money and despite the failure it would not put me off buying another one.
Needed to work on an inaccessible area of an old concrete floor. Bought one of these rasps for a multitool. It worked very well so bought several more. Job done!
Really good attachment for getting rid of old paint however the starlock holder melted after first use! Definitely not heavy duty.
I needed something to help smooth a patch of rough concrete flooring and this worked really well. Very robust and great quality.
I used this to strip of some old tiles adhesive. It was waterproof adhesive so the triclk of a wallpaper steamer to soften it would not work and scraping was slow plus hard work, it was also was taking off too much of the plaster on the wall. I was rather doubtful is this would work but it did a great job leaving a smooth surface to repalce the tiles on. Showed minmal signs of wear after cleaning up for 1 dozen tiles
Very good quality and dies the job veey well for its intended useage, recommend to all who need one.
Thought I'd try this on hardwoods, polyester resin constructions and marine ply to remove and smooth. Long winded process at multi tool speeds, may be better at surface rust removal on mild steel.
Quick and easy way to clean off old grout, and adhesive, from work area.
This wasn't as good as I hoped. Bought it to remove old adhesive from wall where tiles had been, but this really didn't seem to do very much. Maybe it was just me. Still it wasn't expensive so no drama.
Had to review this grinding attachment as it was so good. I had been worried it was for light materials but a few reviews alluded to use on concrete and this didn’t disappoint.
Had to level a concrete floor around the edge of a door. Concrete was ancient and tough. Made from a time when it was bulked out with small 1-3mm shingle and as strong as anything.
Hiring a multi tool from the library and buying this attachment I set about bring it level. It was tough and took a long time but this attachment held up well. It’s lost its coarseness over a three hour use (had to let the tool cool down a few times) but was still taking a small amount off.
So if you have small concrete job to do then for the cost it’s worth trying this out as an option.
Multi tool abrasive bit to remove grouting to remove tiles.perfect for my project fits my Dewalt multi tool .
Made short work of ceramic floor tile adhesive and saved me a lot of time and effort. Would definitely recommend and excellent click and collect service as usual from my local store in Tamworth.
Used to take off plastic coating on a metal bench, worked a treat and is still as good as new. Superb.
Bought to remove kitchen granite tile cement adhesive from a chipboard floor. Good for removing thin layer of cement and to clean up floor after removal of thicker lines of cement using a sharp chisel. Surface of abrasive seems to be long lasting. Made horrible job easier.
