I ordered click and collect from Southall branch because we needed it that day. Email said it was ready to collect but it WASN'T. Another email followed to tell us it was available to collect in Brighton!!! Over a hundred miles away...
I used this for cutting those old toughened wood screws that even a hacksaw won't touch. With a gentle but firm pressure it went through all of them, unscathed and ready for the next job, so not too expensive after all.
Perfect result from this item. Hidden nails and metal inserts securing a desk top were easily cut away. Remembering metal cutting will overheat, I cooled the blade every 3rd cut. (Probably not necessary) The cutter lasted and looks unused. A great addition to my cutting tools and would buy this again if needed.
Cut through pipe easily. Good value for money and in stock
I have never had a problem with Toolstation products until buying this blade. Cutting through a hollow steel tube it literally fell to bits. But good enough Neston Toolstation refunded my money without any problem.
Not the best didn’t cut through the nails atall even when used as advised
Long lasting blade. Use on low speed and move side to side and these blades have a long life. Really useful on rusted in cistern bolts
Once it got going,ie start of the cut on copper pipe it went through with no problem. Pipe being cut was close to wall so a godsend for any plumber
Purchased to cut off snapped bolt on car - but have used for other jobs since. Valuable accessory for my toolbox.
Sorry this blade was completely useless couldn’t even cut through severely corroded M6 bolts.
Find these blades are better than most but STILL don't last as long as I think they should when used on nail.
Does the job, but you have to take it slow and l also cooled the cut with water.
Went blunt within seconds
Great for cutting nails and thin metal in difficult to reach places where angle grinder won't reach.
Used the metal buster blade to cut steel bolts . As long as you use a low speed and keep the blade cool by dipping it in water at regular intervals then it works a treat. I cut 8 bolts and the blade was still in good shape
Expensive and wears out quickly
Unfit for purpose, failed at the first hurdle when trying to cut a rusted M8 bolt, lost all the edge from the middle teeth before making much of an impression on the bolt. On trying to use the remaining teeth at the edges of the blade the welds failed and the 'tool' fell apart. I had hoped that paying what I considered to be a lot for a single blade I could expect it to perform as described. Not so. Please don't waste you money.
Best blade for cutting metal flush
Great blade cuts through nails with ease
