Absolutely shocking tried cutting an old galvanised water pipe, didn't even get through the pipe wall before it became blunt
I have used it to cut through the nailgun nails that were holding ashed together that I was dismantling carefully.
The bade did a excellent job
Not working for door frame. I tried to cut hard wood door surrond. Used two of them but it was very hard.
Only used this for a small job so can't really say what the life expectancy would be.
I wasn’t impressed with these. Bought two of them so i could dismantle a shed by cutting the nails between the joints, managed to cut 12 nails cut between them. Definitely not long life, and not worth the extra cost compared to normal blades
Meant to be long life not teeth went blunt and flat after cutting through a few screws and nails it lasted about 30 minutes
Would prefer same day collection for this excellent blade.
I bought two of these to cut through nails while dismantling wooden pallets. The teeth wore down after just two pallets, but admittedly I was using it only to cut nails and lots of them and although it says is can be used on nails I feel that I may have needed the more expensive blade made exclusively for metal not multi-substrates. A tip if you are using to cut nails - I found that if you move it from side to side while cutting and not just pushing it straignt onto the nail - it doesn't wear the teeth out in one section only - obvs!
Good blade, have only used it once so far. Managed to trim thick piece of wood with ease.
Perfect for cutting nail & screw and other materials
Metal quality couldn't withstand the task of cutting through a 4mm screw. It managed it eventually but most teeth had worn away. Returned for refund.
Cut one nail and all teeth gone very poor I will be returning for a refund
I have used a number of this type of blade from a another manufacturer without problem in a Black & Decker multi cutter on similar jobs. Thought I would give this make a go as price favourable. Never had this happen before but unfortunately the blade broke at the spot welds on second or third use after cutting through a small baton with a wire nail. The blade parted company when I restarted the machine and was not actually cutting. Had to complete the job using the other type. Tempted to try another to see if it was a one off incident.
