I brought this to retrieve a lost screwdriver from my pond worked a treat found it 1st time.
Powerful magnet corner holder, holds the work accurately. Also picks up any swarf or other ferrous rubbish nearby. Its magnetic so not unexpected
Handy magnet, bought it to fish for car keys after dropping them down a drain. Got them on the third cast.
Ideal tool - the multiple angles allow all sorts of jobs to be tackled.
I don’t know, in what position these are placed to obtain a holding strength of 45lb!…I placed it on a piece of steel, barely 4kg in weight, & it just dropped off….. Propped a vertical piece, from horizontal, of a similar weight, & it just couldn’t hold it….not very good at all
Magnets that work. They hold things in place
As long as they are metal that magnets hold onto so don't use on plastic or Formica of wood or glass because you will be disappointed
Good bit of kit. Does as it says on the tin. Bought 2 of them.
Magnetticy as magnets go. I’ll stick with it. It was right to angle.
Not as strong as others I have had in the past. Seem okay when you unpack them but not good enough when you get to use them. Now used and they are magnetic so can’t really return them. Below average performance,
Disappointed with these to be honest as theyre not a true 90 or 45 degrees which made tacking with my welder a bit of a faff.
Welding magnet, there not bad, not as strong as desired but for the price there fine, decent quality,,
I bought a couple of these because I saw experienced welders using them. I’m glad I did, they ‘stick’ firmly to my welding table and provide firm support while I’m tacking-up.
I don’t understand why some people have had problems - maybe they were welding large panels (or certain grades of stainless steel)? Mine are seriously strong and have already been a huge help.
I definitely recommend them.
Well made product but the magnet could have been stronger for my purpose.
Solid Welding Magnet that does the job it says on the tin. Very handy when welding up those 90 degree cornes and making sure everything is relatively square.
Holds stuff well, there's plastic sandwiched inside, careful not to melt it.
Good quality and good price. Can never have too many.
Works quite well, gives a reasonable amount of hold. Does what it says on the tin.
It’s pretty good, the magnet isn’t as strong as i’d like it to be, but it’s still pretty good for smaller, lighter workpieces
Works as well as it should, I was hoping it would be a little more powerful but that's my misjudgement. Toolstation staff helpful as usual.
Great magnet for fabrication work but didn't prove much use with bodywork repairs as it's best suited for straight metal and solid angles.
