Used in conjunction with hessian blankets when the cold was more than should be acceptable for laying blocks. Results were very good. Mortar has survived in tact. Would recommend.

This is so handy on those freezing frosty days, you can carry on making concrete or mortar at less than +4c down to about -5c in the knowledge that it will set satisfactorily.

I read the instructions which are a bit vague so I was a bit sceptical. The mix was added and it made the mortar a great texture to work with. I was worried because it didn’t seem to set quickly and it was becoming dark cold and damp. Next day everything was spot on it hadn’t budged…great result.
Good stuff and does what it says on the tin, would recommend to anyone wanting to use this, great product.
Worked well easy mixing and did what it said on the drum
