The hardest part of this was cleaning out the old mortar. Once cleaned out, the instructions were simple and after a month, it still looks as good as it did when first applied.

Have used this to replace some loose pointing in my paved patio but I looked at a few YouTube videos before use as there are some tips/guidelines you must follow for best practice such as packing the compound really well into the gaps and not just brushing it in. Also a good tip is to store any unused compound loose in the bucket (out of the plastic bag it came in) and then cover with water for up to 1 month. This means you can split the job into smaller sections if it's too much to do in one go. The compound seems to have set quite well a few days after application. There is quite a bit of surplus sand-like particles to brush away but these came off the surface quite easily. I left it for a couple of days to brush away so not to disturb the gaps. How well the compound will last remains to be seen.

Having pointed slabs the traditional way with cement, which was both time consuming and fiddly. Sika FastFix was both very easy to use, quick and the results is fantastic. Took two days to harden and cure. Definitely recommend it

Easy to fill paving joints looks good and permeable

Not easy to use and sticks to the whole patio, followed instructions saying water entire patio and then brush in to gaps then using a tool compact the compound in the gaps. However all of the left of compound sits on the surface and because it’s wet it sticks to the surface and am now left with a sandy texture on the surface of the patio. Does eventually come of with a stiff brush but what I though would be a quick fix definitely was not!

Does what it says on the tin and goes a long way so good price.

I have been using this product for about 3 years now gradually filling a large patio area where the yearly pressure washing has blasted out the old cement. It's a bit of a rush to use because of the one hour working time but the areas that have been replaced are wearing well.

Bought this to fill in-between the paving slabs on our back patio and to help prevent weeds as it was a Which? best buy in doing so. Sadly, the patio slabs were not laid very well or evenly, so keeping the recommended gap sizes for the product was not always possible. It will be interesting to see how it affects its long term performance. I watched the 'how to use' product video - which was useful. I'm glad I also read the instructions as I would not have known what to do with the lumps that had formed in the bags.
The finish looks pretty good at the moment. However, I have not given the product five stars as it is far too early to know how well it lasts and whether it lives up to its promise.
Whilst I did not notice myself, my wife did not like the smell it gave off whilst curing.

This is easy to use. Follow sizing instructions. The one hour seems a a strange one mine was ok 4 or 5 hrs later. When gaps filled take at least 48hrs to harden. Nice part its nearly dy mix and brushed and compacted in joints. Brushes with soft brush and leave no marks on slabs. Great item for bigger gaps
