Easy to install in an existing unit, good quality.
Very confusing instructions very clunky operation due to plastic upper guide can’t use the top basket hole as height adjustment screw fowls hole not great quality considering the price , looks good though
Solid larder at a good price. Pleased with the product.
I bought this kit to convert an existing tall cabinet into a pull out larder. The materials appear to be good quality but the engineering leaves a lot to be desired requiring a lot of work to make ot work. The biggest problem is holes drilled in the wrong place meaning things don't line up to bolt together as they should. The main issue is the plates holding the two main sections together and also the top shelf hanging holes are blocked by the fixing bolt meaning these to had to be altered to make it fit. All this is a shame as once it was eventually built it was a nice unit. For the price I would expect better and I hope the manufacturer takes this onboard and improves the accuracy of the machining during manufacture of the product.
I usually wouldn’t bother with review, but this shelving unit was particularly troublesome to fit so hopefully this will help people know what they are getting in to. As others have said, the instructions refer to parts which are not included, or presumably necessary. At the first step of joining the two frame pieces together, one side of the frame did not have holes drilled in the centre of the box section, so the tapped holes in the joining piece did not line up with the through holes. This was sorted by drilling the through holes out to 6.5mm.
The brackets which screw into the rear of the door to mount it to the frame had undersized holes for the included screws. These were drilled out to 5mm.
At the final step, when putting in the wire shelves, the top location wouldn’t work as the rivnut in the box section (used to secure the upper sliding frame bit) fouls where the hanging pin goes through. I opted to grind a small flat on the pin to make it work. Alternatively, you could drill new holes in the frame before installing it in the cabinet.
Less critical issues: there are constant mix ups between the size of screws e.g. 4mm specified vs 5mm diameter included, and wood screws are referred to as M4 for example even though they are not metric threads (I can forgive them this one). The instructions show parts which differ from those in the box – i.e. different overall size, different number of fixings for a given component. It also doesn’t mention this anywhere, but I’d recommend pilot drilling anything into the carcass/doors. I used a 2mm bit.
It’s a nice enough unit when fitted, and makes good use of space. A bit rattly as the top roller is a slack fit on the guide rail. Does the job and I’m happy with it even after the faffy installation process.
Easy to install and good quality. Easy to adjust height of baskets
Great price and easy to fit, replaced broken unit
Will use again if the other unit also breaks only downside is no soft close function but at this price to be expected.
Not as Solid as the original but is fine and width description confusing.
Great quality product fits perfectly smooth operation
This mechanism works well but is quite noisy when operated.
Nice and cheap in comparison to most other brands. The fitting instructions aren't the clearest but if you're a professional there should be no issues
Poor instructions and the one I got had been opened before and had loads of spare screws and fixings.
It works ok now fitted after some tweeking and adjusting.
No nonsense product does what it’s supposed to do for a very good price well pleased
Pull Out Larder draw very reasonably priced does the job might have been better with solid draws but on the whole good value for money.
Great item, very useful, but instructions leave a lot to be desired for an amateur fitter. Really struggled on some parts as bags of fittings not labelled. Overall though very pleased with the item now it’s installed.
Great, easy to fit product at a good price. Highly recommended.
Have to say I am very disappointed with this larder, was half way assembling when I noticed the bearing runners were only on the base of the pull out, the top is guided by a very loose fitting roller in a thin metal channel. Given how sturdy the baskets are I was surprised the quality didn’t extend to the frame.
The upshot is no matter how well you centre the assembly, the wire baskets will always rub on one side of your cabinet and it sounds very cheap. Have had to cut my losses and bought a better quality one with runners top and bottom.
Bought this as oversight by kitchen provider only sent a cabinet with shelves.
Their price somewhat shocking
..so did some researching and found Toolstation supplier was quality line. Other possibles ex Hafele had been discontinued anyway.
So it was fitted and all the components look good quality. The only niggle is the top guide / runner interaction is a bit " wobbly " . Will see what its like when loaded and in use. Might see if the slack can be tinkered with. But overall it should be ok.
Poor Mechanism, the soft close Mechanism does not allow the door to be pulled fully closed when you shut the Door. I am very dubious regarding the top rail which obviously supports the runner, it appears weak having only one roller within the top rail.
Would not purchase this Product again, very disappointed, not as robust as I had expected.
