The gap is to big to seal onto tray even when full tightened
This trap doesn't screw down far enough to seal on a completely normal thickness shower tray; not even close. No idea what it fits. Took it back and bought a Viva one, which worked perfect first time.
I fitted this trap to an existing shower tray after leakage from the old trap. After fitting it water appeared under the trap on 3 occasions and I had to remove the tray believing the silicone as I couldn't see all the connections. Eventually I realised it was leaking from the outlet coupling which didn't seal on 40mm pipe. I had to refit the the outlet pipe with solvent 40mm diameter pipe to get a seal. Be warned
What's the point of a screw off base for cleaning when it's a shower trap and inaccessible? the very small outlet under the chrome cover would probably limit the flow and make cleaning impossible. I shall be returning it.

Good quality for the price. The only thing I'm not satisfied is the cleaning options. Different brands have some kind of perforated cup for catching small items.

A great product at a great price, I needed a straight outlet with a removable inner basket for cleaning and this met my needs, its good quality and very good value.
Absolutely rubbish. Very slow to drain, flooded my shower tray so had to buy another. Even tried drilling more holes in the trap, to no avail.

I brought this as it has a straight connecter easier to fit than the angled ones so far so good only time will tell

Good quality including the supplied seals. Point to note:- This waste is serviceable from below the top cover can be removed and replaced easily.
