Once you get the correct measurements for the right size, it very straightforward to install.

Although i couldn't use the whole trap because of the site conditions, the chromed insert matched the threads of the existing trap. Ideal!
Have the same item fitted for the last 15 years, one of the best for cleaning blockages via the removable centre.
Easy to fit, and it has a tightening tool in the design, the pop out grill, simply turn it upside down and use it to tighten.

This was all plastic, there are much better brass ones on the market, it’s cheap and nasty spend a bit more and buy a brass one
Used as a replacement for a similar trap from a different brand. Beware this does not come with a key/spanner, and although it looks similar to the one I was replacing, I was not able to tighten the flange into the trap. However the threading inside the trap was the same, so I was able to use the old flange.
Basic but good if you have the key to fit it as not supplied.
with a bottom for cleaning , once fitted not going to be easy as in ground cemented down tray. but the other make was too deep to fit. but top does come off to get most of the mess out.
This had a manufacturing fault and wouldn't screw home. Took it back for a replacement. Same problem. Having wasted hours I went next door for a different product and the five minute job then took five minutes.
