Was doubtful buying this reading some negative reviews. But, perfect for what I wanted. Easy to fit, no problem with screws (using correct bit helps!). Looks smart, no tarnish.

The clasps themselves are really nice but the small brass screws aren't much good. Some heads popped off when installing and had one out of eight pop off in use.

It is predominantly solid brass as described. Shame it has a steel retaining washer which could corrode in damp environments
Nice little item primarily for decorative purposes. tongue is a little shot and gap a little wide so allows a little wobble if using for something serious
Don't use the screws supplied, they get stripped using even just a small screw driver, and the head snapped off one leaving the body stuck in my cupboard door.
I order 2 of these, on both the two parts of the lock were mis shapen and didnt look like they belonged to the same item. Both sets also had really damaged surfaces front and back. Loads of scrapes, so they didnt look nything like this polished brass image on the website. Pretty poor quality. Im getting a refund.
Does the job. Affixed to the back of a fire guard with rivets to keep it secure and shut.
Bought these because I thought it would work better on the wardrobe doors. Not well made. Only one good thing.... cheap. One of the 3 that I bought broke 2 days later after very little use.
