Not suitable for operating a mortise type lock. I was replacing the single sided thumb turn that operated a mortise on one side of a door. The assembly was clipped from the coin operated side, which I wasn’t using. I just wanted the thumb turn connected to a rose. Sadly, the thumb turn was totally separate to the rose so it wasn’t retained and would just fall out.
I’ve fitted a few of these now and they feel nice and heavy/solid and the actual thumb turn has a nice feel to it and is easy to hold and turn.
Functional smart and well made. Chrome finish smooth and all fitltings required are enclosed
