I used to use the bottle version many years ago, but I find the rapid dose a lot faster and less messy. I’ve always used this product or fernox . Is it cheap no but in my opinion you get what you pay for.
This product is very easy to use and dies exactly what it says it does
Makes it easier for those situations where one would struggle to find a point to introduce inhibitor. Also probably better for the D.I.Y'er
Excellent application canister. I apply it via the combi boiler filling loop. As others have commented, the nozzle may need shortening. Easy ordering process via Tool Station website, collected it same day.
Easy to use, only takes a few minutes to use this product. Worth the money for the speed of use.
Video shows injecting it into the pump, but the instructions on the tube say inject it into the radiator (the adapter supplier is for a radiator not a pump). Followed the instructions on the tube went fairly easy. Took about 30 minutes. All good.
Great price and handy attachments. Well respected brand
The supplied adapter leaks through the screw connector. When i taped that up with plumbibg tape, it sealed the leak on the connector sise but then the end the goes into the can started leaking and there was mothing i could do to stop that. Feel like more or the inhibitor spilt out due to the leaks than actualky went in the radiator! Not a goid design so i will be reverting to using the normal bottle of inhibitor.
A great product I have used many times before , but this is the first time I have used the rapid dose which was easy to use
Went in easily enough with the blank removed. Not much good trying to go through the bleed valve.
Easy to use, I was replacing a radiator and added this before I refilled it. Time will tell how effective it is.
Great for pressurized systems, easy to connect to the filler loop. Just dropped some pressure first by letting some water out of a radiator bleed valve. Injected the product via the filler loop then topped up to pressure afterwards.
Adaptations hose was useless, the adapter would not fix into the radiator and product could not be used.
Easy to use system to add inhibitor into the heating system, clear instructions.
Very easy to use,no waste, good, and a decent price to match
Easy to use albeit more expensive than standard liquid. Went in radiator very quick. Recommended
A bit more expensive but quicker to add to a sealed system.
Excellent quality, easy to use and does the job. Service from Toolstation was excellent and friendly.
Trying to use the easy top up failed. The connection leaked and there did not seem to be sufficient pressure in the tin to propel the x100 into the system at 1 bar. Plan B was remove the radiator valve and remove some fluid with a syringe. I could then squirt the x100 in! As another reviewer said. Just use the cheaper old method.
Quick and easy to top up central heating system through the radiator.
