Yes this is self cutting and it's easy to put on
Just keep screwing until leaks stop
Self cutting isolating valve 15 mm easy to fit even if you have no plumbing skills
Used to make a out side tap works ok fitted it with out turning off the water a big mistake water every were but if you just keep going it stops and is completely leak sealed comes with out a instruction sheet which would have been handy to know how far to screw it in just kept going till it stopped leaking

Very easy to use, I used it on hot water tank to diran the water as the existing one was stuck and we had no other option. This can be used on live pipe to sut off and have additional cap off point.
Used to add a washing machine to a mains pressure 'live' pipe. Although there was some spray as the cutting edge entered the tube the valve tightens up nicely and once sealed has not leaked at all. Would ideally have reduced the water pressure before fitting but sometimes this is unavoidable. Used a flexible pipe with 1/2" female thread to lead off from the valve to limit vibration from the pipework to the washing machine to avoid any loosening of the fitting.
Very good for adding to existing pipes. Easy to install and no leaks so far

Bought this after the kit I bought failed to cut through pipe, fitted in 5 mins and added washer pipe connection, Bob's your uncle
