The Sealey High Lift EV Battery Lift is a professional-grade hydraulic platform truck designed specifically for electric vehicle battery maintenance and heavy workshop lifting tasks. With an impressive 1200kg capacity and maximum platform height of 1780mm, this heavy-duty unit provides the elevation and stability required for safe EV battery removal and installation across a wide range of electric vehicles. Built with a solid steel framework, the EVBT1200 features a powerful electric motor that delivers smooth, controlled ascent and descent via a hand control with integrated safety stop feature. The platform dimensions of 1340mm x 820mm, combined with multiple table and saddle adjustments, accommodate most EV battery configurations. The 220V single-phase power supply (8A full-load current) includes a generous 5m cable length for workshop flexibility. Mounted on four composite wheels—two fixed and two locking castors—this platform truck rolls easily over rough workshop floors whilst maintaining stability during operation. Beyond EV battery work, it proves invaluable for everyday workshop tasks including engine removal and installation, transmission work, fuel tank servicing, subframe maintenance, and can function as a mobile service bench.
