As an electrician I use long drill bits all the time to drill through cavity walls. These are really great, haven't dulled at all and are still going strong 👍

For the price they're worth every penny, i needed to drill through an 800mm thick limestome house wall. The drills werent quad tipped but as they were brand new they coped really well, only gave 4* simply because they weren't quad tipped.
Would definitely buy again and recommend.
