Had to drill two holes through sandstone solid walls looks like they’ll be plenty more holes to drill with this bit
It's a little monster, nothing I would carry with me to do regular job, but I was in need to drill through 4 layers of bricks and 3 air gaps at once, whilst outside wall was 45 degree to main wall, drill bit kept going straight and result was nice straight and accurate hole, no problems to feed the cable through.
Normally good, must have had a duff one, used for approximately 6 mins and drilled about 170mm before the SDS end snapped off in the drill. Was drill too powerful?, don't think 18v is. Toolstation swapped with no issues and replacement bit done 9 holes so far. The bit it originally replaced did years of service.

Used this to run 2 15mm copper pipes through a double cavity wall, about 60cm in total, but there were no cheap sds+ bits around that size that weren't silly money.

For the DIY'er you don't often need to drill long wide holes in masonary, so buying a drill bit that costs the Earth isn't really appropriate. This drill cut through the stone work with ease and had the length I required for a very reasonable price. In fact, the bit still looks new after making a 75cm by 24mm hole. A great purchase for me.
It did the job. It was long and it was hard. That sounds wrong 😅. It went into a wall so that says something 😝. What more can I say.

Not good it bent from top on my first use now when I use it it shakes my drill total waste of money
