Poor balance, handle too small uncomfortable to use for long periods
Good piece of kit, won't use often but there if need be.
Speedy service and good value tool
Poor design and construction, head became loose during first day of use. Returned for refund.
Good product well weighted/ balanced and worked a treat
A useful tool and reasonably priced. Blades need to be inserted with some force to remain in place. Bought to remove faulty pebbledash render - which it did quite effectively. Lost one star as I felt the balance could have been better - but didn't detract from its performance.
Very good Scutch Hammer. Very reasonably priced
Poor quality build. Neck has bent after half a days use
Very happy with this purchase good quality excellent service and delivery very quick thank you
Good hammer but chisel fittings are very poor quality and break very easy with only light work
The hammer works well but I would prefer a softer handle grip and smaller head.
I had my own combs and the workability of the hammer is very good.
This hammer is a good weight to remove the most stubborn of mortar.
Be sure to buy also a set of new blades/teeth
Just make sure you order extra scutch combs, this would make it actually usable as it doesn't actually come with any!
I bought this item to remove a variety of plasters in my porch applied from 1833 to the years of the second millennium. It does the job perfectly, the earlier plaster is easier to remove, the modern stuff is more resilient.
