Good shoes, I thought I was buying black but it turns out they were blue!
As I am a size 8 1/2, I tried lots of other brands and the size eights are too small and the size 9 and miles too big.
The Toolstation guy recommended. I tried these scruffs trainers and whilst the size nineswere still a little too large when fitted with a pair of good inner soles they fit it perfectly.
I wear these for about 10 hours a day and generally do about 12,000 steps in them per day.
They seem to be quite comfortable throughout the day and I probably the best safety shoes I have ever had and I have had quite a few pairs of safety shoes.

Great value,comfortable straight away,no rubbing or wearing in,obviously a little heavier than composite toe tectors as these are metal caps with plastic midsole(?) but still pretty lightweight.Suprisingly grippy soles,as a mechanic I thought they might slip and slide a little in oil etc but they do a decent job of stopping me face planting the floor.More blue than black but that doesn’t bother me,and a little suede that might not last too well in time but function over form for me…..Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.
First time trying steel toe cap trainers, and pleasantly surprised, light, easy to get on and look decent, soles are more padded than my normal work boots so feet not as achy at the end of the day.

Toes wore through within 4 days so these were not fit for purpose. Returned to store who gave me a replacement pair.
Quite comfortable, much better than safety boots if you’re working indoors.
