Bought these as a non-rusting replacement for lacquered steel of the same size and shape. Very good price and the screw holes are in exactly the same place as those of the old sash lifts - which is important for metal framed windows.

Screws not best quality but for the price you can’t be too picky
Solid enough and looks great. The screws supplied are pretty small. If you're going into fresh wood/pvc then the screws supplied might be ok. As these were replacement hooks, we had to change to larger screws to match the existing holes.

Good quality sash lifter, at a great price from Toolstation…what’s not to like!
The pills themselves are decent and they seem to be made of solid brass and, as such, offer excellent value for money. Don’t bother with the screws. They are merely plated and not of the girth required for sash windows which Will obviously be old and made of wood which will have deteriorated over many decades. Fortunately I have a box of genuine brass screws which will serve the purpose. The screws provided will go in my recycling bin in the morning as they are good for nothing.
Good solid brass sash lift
Having recently draught stripped some sash windows, they needed good strong hardware to lift the lower sash. These lifts are substantial and have smooth rounded edges, so less likely to catch on clothing or blinds. The brass finish is smooth. The fixing holes are well countersunk. The supplied screws are a bit flimsy, so I used 6g x 25mm BZP. There wasn't enough stock, so I will be re-ordering.
