It's sand paper. Reasonably strong and lasts fairly well.
Bought as a clearance item for pence and they work as well as any other fine sanding sheets I've used so absolutely cannot grumble
Great product, robust and great value. This is a regular purchase as i always trust Toolstation to deliver on reasonable prices. Thanks
Good quality sanding sheets in a handy pack for DIY and at a good price.
Bought this for the missus to remove makeup done a fairly decent job but she would probably been better off with a angle grinder
Poor quality fell apart within a few mins, will huy better quality next time
Typical toolstation selling quality stuff at quality price
Excellent sanding sheets and great value for money. Highly recommended.
Used to smooth roller-painted window sill. Gave the finish required while sheet kept its integrity
240 grit, fine enough for painting after but no one seems to do ‘flour paper’ anymore but didn’t try finer wet and dry paper for MDF
Great. Just the right size for manual sander or sanding block
Ah, sandpaper. The glamorous side of DIY. The razzle-dazzle of home renovation. The Hollywood starlet of… absolutely nothing.
But let’s talk about this particular batch of 120 grit joy: 10 sheets of 93mm x 230mm abrasive ambition. Why 93mm by 230mm? No idea. But I didn’t have to hire a trailer to get it home, and that, friends, is what we call convenience!
I was on a mission. I needed exactly 120 grit. Not 80 grit (too angry), not 240 (might as well use a feather duster). No, I wanted that sweet, sweet middle ground—the Goldilocks of abrasion. And this sandpaper delivered. It was just the right amount of aggression to smooth my walls without making them weep.
Application? Oh yes. I slapped it on my sanding block (not rhyming slang) with all the confidence of someone pretending they know what they’re doing, and got to work. It handled filler bumps, paint lumps, and the mysterious gritty patches that materialise overnight like wall acne. When I was done, my walls were smoother than a jazz saxophonist in a velvet suit.
Durability? Surprisingly decent, considering the price was lower than a builder’s tea budget. Each sheet lasted longer than my patience, which is all I really ask for in a DIY partner.
Does it spark joy? Not really. But it does spark dust. So much dust. Still, if you like your lungs clean, you're probably not sanding walls for fun anyway.
In conclusion: it’s sandpaper. It’s cheap. It’s the correct roughness. It doesn’t complain. It made my walls feel like they’d been to a spa.
Five stars. Would rub again.
Whether it was used with a sheet sander, sanding block or just by hand it cracked and broke up literally within seconds. The 60 grit was the same if not worse, not worth the paper it's made with. You get what you pay for.
Good item works well does a good job , very easy to use
perfect for sanding couldnt ask for better paper solved all my issues when painting my brakes lasts a long time in between wearing down too..also got alot more than i thought in the packet
Good value for money. Cheaper than other suppliers and does a good job. Would buy again
Good quality paper, works well on it's own or with a tool.
This is a good medium sandpaper. Slightly on the courser side than some mediums. They are fairly small but low price. I tend to rip other sandpapers in half, but not these. The paper is fairly thick, so doesn’t tear as easily as others I’ve used.
How can you review sanding sheets? If I was one of those wastrels who have to fill in on Sky TV until the ads are read I could perhaps pad out something here but no. Looking at them on the bench in front of me - I'm just NOT inspired. They are sanding sheets, just that! Plain on one side rough (although no too rough) on the other. Even the colour is unremarkable. They would have a USP if they were pink - and then could be more attractive to the butch building trade. I don't know. Either way they are cheaper and more convenient than using the side of a match box.
Consistently excellent value for money products and service
