This is a repeat / replacement purchase. The original unit was purchased in July 2024 and failed 20 months later. It did function as required throughout this in-service period. These items come with a advertised 2 year warranty ... but only if you register the item within 15 days of the purchase ... and depending upon the circumstance / detail of the product, may result in an engineer visit to establish the validity of the claim.
This replacement works well and is 'quieter' than the original unit.
Great for a.single tap but not very good fpr a shower
Pump easy to install but didnt really boost as much as expected.
Easy to fit. Compact. Extra pressure as a result was good. But we expected a little more pressure on the outlet.
very easy to install, gives a better flow to taps, if using a mixer make sure to either buy two or use a valve on the inlet that doesn't have the booster.
Compact, easy to install, does the job. Tripled the flow from my hot tap.
This product does not operate as effectively as described in the manufacturers spec . It did increase the flow rate on my gravity fed kitchen mixer tap from 2 L/min to 4 L/min . Not really that impressive for the price. Easy to install but performance weak .
Disappointed with the outcome. Was hoping for a greatly improved flow from tap but was not that much of an increase. The fitting is easy.
It works but not much of a noticeable change value for money - considering the amount of change its made wouldn't bother and there is also the cost of a non return valve on the cold
Does the job. Improved the flow on a gravity fed system to a bathroom mixer tap which was none existent.

Quiet and easy to install, not a huge increase in pressure but was enough to be noticeable,
Great product and easy to fit - wanted to boost flow to a new kitchen hot tap which has flexible connectors with narrow bore. It took 25 secs to fill 1 litre before fitting. Now it takes just 12- 15.
A 22mm version would be good so-it could be fitted immediately after the hot water cylinder Sussex take off valve so as to boost hot water to all hot taps in the house. As rather expensive to fit one to each sink x 4
This is a great little pump. Very quiet and easy to install
Easy to fit and instructions were clear. However, improvement was not remotely as expected. Increased the flow on a very restrictive mixer from 1.3 litres/minute to 2l/m, bot to 7l/m as expected from the product specs
Doesn’t work tried to get in touch with salamander no reply can’t get thought on phone you got more chance ringing your doctor I meet all of there specifications I get the impression they all ready know it doesn’t work hence no reply so don’t waste your money
Poor performance pump for the money. More noise less boost. Don’t waste your money on this crap.
I fitted this on a feed to a cistern which was filling too slowly. It happily works, buzzing not too loudly. However its output was not quite as great as feted in the sales literature but that might be down to the pipe run up to the pump restricting flow.
Pump is great and was exactly what we needed how ever online it showed as having one in stock at my local store but when I went to go purchase it was a next day collection only.
