The pump worked for 16 months and the developed an electrical fault which was replaced under warranty the replacement has lasted 18 months and developed a leak on one of the centrifuges at the cold end. The 2nd pump lasted 18months before it started to leak. It is now out of warranty! Very disappointing for a pump at this price

Purchased to replace the old pump - Salamander ECP100CPV (now 12 years old) - the design of the new pump in relation to piping is the same so a quick replacement - also replaced the four AV couplers. Also purchased the (rather expensive) Salamander AV Mat but there are four small pieces included with the pump so returned the mat for refund. The new pump is significantly quieter than the previous one - hope we get another 12 'trouble-free' years from this pump.
