Great pump no problem that’s all,replaced the existing one like for like lasted about 6year and packed it up worth the money.
First pump leaked after 2 months use so fingers crossed for second

Will NEVER EVER buy a salamander pump again it lasted just 6mths as stated in other reviews, have since bought a Stuart turner pump as replacement as I received no offer of refund nor replacement DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Excellent much better than the one it replaced? Installation bit fiddly due to change of pipes but better flow and greatly quieter.

This is the second one of these I’ve bought, hope it lasts longer than the first one (2yrs)
Hopefully this one will last longer than 2 years which is how long the last one lasted after the bearing seized.
It was a quiet pump , and gave a good delivery of water, it was good value for money
The first one failed straight from the box(pump wouldn't switch off). The replacement from Toolstation worked for 3.5 years then wouldn't switch on. New one from Toolstation worked for 3 weeks, then wouldn't switch off. Replaced by Toolstation and have broken the 3 weeks record. The 3 year guarantee isn't worth the hassle has it requires you to take about 10 photos starting from the header tank and working the way down past every pipe and connection. No doubt if you try to claim they will be a fault somewhere in your system.

This is our second pump in 14 months exactly the same happened with the second one Pump jams up and overheats and cuts out Will not by this brand again
Pump leaked within two months.
Took it back to branch only to be told I could not return it as it had been fitted and had water through it!

It's good that the basic design is still the same after many years, making it fast and easy to swap pumps. Flexi connecters make the job even easier, and each has a shut-off valve.
