As replacement for the same pump this one seems much quieter from the outset. Also, Tool Station's price was much cheaper.
I highly recommend this pump for those who are struggling with low water pressure and where the positive head pump is not working. Despite its price, this pump solves all the issues with reliability.
Terrible pump, noisy to use and first one only lasted 3 days, was replaced under warranty and second lasted around 4 months, for the price I would expect much better quality, Salamander won't pay for the fitting of replacements when they break, avoid this at all costs.
Replacement for existing Salamander pump that failed after 13 years of use. New model is much quieter and provides more power.
