Unfortunately I had to replace my original pump as it had developed a small leak and I thought after twelve years of daily use it was time to be replaced.
The replacement was extremely straightforward as I only had to disconnect the hoses and lift out the old and replace with the new one, I used the existing hoses as they were perfectly serviceable.
The new pump was fully interchangeable with the old unit albeit an upgraded model, allowing for cleaning up afterwards it took about 45 minutes, very pleased!
Easy to install, more or less a direct replacement for and earlier outdated model. (minor pipework changes were needed. Works well and with antivibration pads fitted is very quiet
This pump is MUCH quieter than my old Salamnder Pump. Both are 1.5Bar but the flow on the new one (centrifugal) is a little lower than the old one (recirculating) It comes with a full set of hoses, so fitting was very quick and easy.
Bought this pump as a replacement for a Stuart Turner Showermate TP Twin Shower Pump which had literally 'ground to a halt' just 14 months after I had bought it from Toolstation. Sadly on a 12 month warranty. This in turn had been a replacement for a Triton T550i which had lasted 3 years and was a direct replacement for the original Triton T550i pump of the complete shower installation some 15 years previously. The Salamander was very easy to install and runs very much quieter than the Showermate. I have great hopes for it but it has only been in operation for a few weeks and, of course, longevity is the key objective. It is a solidly built piece of kit with a comprehensive instruction booklet. Warranty is 3 years and registration was easy. As usual the Toolstation service was excellent - product ordered online and available for collection in only a few minutes (I chose a product in stock). I am lucky to be in walking distance of my local store so it was easy-peasy.
Easy to fit and working well so far. Bought to replace existing pump as this arrangement fitted with a minimum of disruption to the existing pipework
My old Salamander pump gave up the go - this one swapped in nicely. Same fittings and power supply so no dramas. Plenty of power for a 1 shower setup. New one model seems quieter than the old one.
Works well and a good price, what more could you ask for and easy to install.

Good quality pump supplied with fittings. Easy to install and quiet in operation. Recommend it sits on something heavy if not on a solid floor, I used a square of paving slab.
Good product ample pressure for all showers available really
Bought and fitted. BUT extremely low flow and erratic temperature at the shower head. Checked all valves, dismantled shower flow valve, asked plumber to check rigid pipework and blow through with compressed air. Conclusion: faulty pump.
Exchanged the pump at Toolstation for a "Stuart & Turner" as that was what was originally fitted. Installed it only to find the pump was seized. Again, faulty pump!
Exchanged the pump again, took it home and unboxed it. Found Plastic bag which should have contained seals ripped and empty. All plastic blanks on water ports had been off (anti tamper seals broken). Didn't even bother to fit it. Took it back for a full refund.
Bought a pump from a respected competitor, was given a new unit, fully sealed in it's box.
Fitted and worked properly first time.
A lot of time, fuel and money (plumber) wasted!
Great pump, much quieter than my old one.
Replaces same make and model that ran reliably for about 8 years with constant daily use... this new one seems to be a little bit nosier, but hoping it will last just as long...
Newer "like-for-like" of my old pump that packed up but £30 cheaper than other competitors.
Needed to replace shower pump and this was the new updated model i needed. Easy to replace and works just as it should
I suppose you need to understand the difference in bar measurement clearly I don't. Previous review state it's powerful, maybe a guide on the distance between pump and showerhead would be useful as 1.5 bar just does the job in my case. If the distance is over 2 meters, get a more powerful one. It is very quiet though. Previous pump had 22mm pipes so had to adapt plumbing, other than that a very nice product.
