Great product with good instructions and fitting stencils
I bought this to replace the cheap and nasty "spring and chain in tube within door" type that the builder had fitted, and which jammed up (with the door open, thankfully) after 3 years.
This is a quality piece of kit, at a good price. And very easy to fit, except ....
I had to make a template to cut (with a router) a flat section on my architrave to mount the scissor arm, and also to clear the boss where the scissor arm meets the body. Admittedly my architraves are a fairly monstrous "torus" pattern, but I'd expect a bit of an issue with any but the slimmest, flattest architraves.
Very good and easy to fit . Would definately purchase again.
Easy to fit with the supplied template and easy to adjust. Early days, but appears to be a reasonable item.
