Very good for oil based paints. Better than white sprite
Very useful material but could be cheaper as it has many uses and gets used quickly.
Rustins xylene thinners is avery good cleaner/thinner where white spirits won’t work.
Excellent product for cleaning enamel paint brushes.
Used this for the first time after a recommendation and it worked an absolute treat to remove sticky residue left from sign writing. Will definitely keep for future use.

This stuff takes off synthetic paint very well, even when it's dried hard. In fact, it takes old paint off that's been there for years. It's not cheap at over £11 for 500ml (I got 5L cellulose thinners from a car parts store for £14 and they do the same job on the spray paint I was trying to remove, but the fumes are much more noxious), but it does the job well.
Works well with tough solvent based paints, don’t need to much of it wither
Great for re-melting solvent based concrete sealer helps to remove white marks unfortunately a little bit on the expensive side so wouldn’t buy in any quantity
This product is not cheap, but it really thins varnish well and does not impair the final result.
I had bought a sealer for my drive that needed a xylene thinners to clean up or dilute. It worked very quickly and was effective on what I wanted to clean and although the label said to wear gloves any contact with my skin was okay.
Bought xylene to clean up old brushes which worked well but also found product with wirewool excellent to clean old paint off brickwork where previously cellulose thinners, brick acid etc had proved ineffective.

I not used this product before for brush cleaning paint that requires a proprietary cleaner, but it’s really effective and I’d use it again without hesitation.
Excellent thinners, best I’ve ever used, not cheap, but the best never is.
Thinners is the type of product that is so useful for many different things, that should be in everyone's cupboard. Just be careful on plastics.
