Seems to work well, though I've yet to varnish over it.
Does what it says on the tin. Goes on well, dries quickly - does the job.
Quick drying and very easy to apply. I used this to prime my stripped melamine-covered kitchen unit doors, some of which had pulled off the original undercoat and some which had water / condensation damage and had to be sanded fair. Before applying new vinyl wrap, I applied six coats of this in two days as it is so fast (re-coatable in 2 hours), then sanded with 400 grade paper. The vinyl recommended three coats minimum.
Not sure whether this is any different or better than a PVA / water solution, but it seemed a reasonable price to pay for the job.
Easy to apply. Have to watch where it drops as you can’t see it. Seems to scrape off using your nail.
Usually buy sanding sealer from model shop for model boats but this is far better without the horrible smell that comes with model shop stuff
A nice size tin to seal a chipboard batroom floor in which I had inserted a new section. It was easy to see where it was applied due to its milky appearance which quickly dried clear. Well pleased.
I applied to hardboard worktops on both sides mid-winter. The worktops are in an unheated garage and all sides of the hardboard was covered in green mould. Horrible. I applied sealer to all surfaces and allowed to dry. Two weeks later and the mould has not returned. So far so good! Thank you.
Excellent product. Second tin bought. Top service from Toolstation, delivered the following day as promised.
Excellent product does what it says on the tin. Would recommend
excellent mdf sealer, excellent friendly service from counter staff.5 stars
I was a bit concerned that the sealer might cause a small amount of swelling t the MDF but there was no trace of any.
Used to seal MDF shelving panels for use in garage. Holds up well to boxes being slide about regularly, easy to apply and quick drying.
MDF drinks this up and once dry, within the hour, it’s ready for paint.
I hate cliches but it actually does what it says on the tin.
I bought this for the bathroom panel and have used it a couple of times. So far it is doing the job but will have to see if it is waterproof.
Easy to apply, fast to dry and gives a nice clean finish.
