The Rustins Quick Drying MDF Sealer (1 Litre) is a clear, quick drying sealer that is used before you add either paint of varnish to your surface.
This is unlike other MDF sealers which can only be painted.
Touch dry in around 30mins, this can be recoated in 2 hours.
Brushes can be easily cleaned in water.
Exactly what I needed. Used before a primer and the results were perfect
When I opened the tin I thought this is too watery to be any good but it certainly did the job! I stuck to the instructions on the tin and got a near perfect result.I used it on MDF which is notoriously hard to seal.
Great product, firmed up the fluffy edges of the MDF 👍🏻
Works fine on plywood before varnishing, and cheap as chips!!
Easy to use and seems to do the job well so far ...
Just used for the first time.Really pleased with the results
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Great product, easy to apply with roller or brush. Coverage was good and economical to use
Easy to use with roller. Used on MDF cupboard doors prior to paint. Good value sealer. Def recommend
Great value and it did the job on my mdf panels to seal them prior to painting the primer coat
Does what it says on the tin! Put on MDF in the morning was sealed by the evening
Great product makes freshly sanded woodwork look great.
Easy to apply, drying time seems accurate. Will buy again. Be careful not to leave an excess by an edge or surface touching or leaning or something else as it sticks like glue and can damage the board.
Product works well and goes a long way. Used to prime and seal sone mdf in kitchen
Did the job perfectly. Cant really ask for more. Was simple to use.
I have always used this product on MDF it’s the best and quickest sealer I’ve found and a little goes a long way, it’s not just good on MDF also hardboard normal wood as a sanding sealer I recommend this to everyone using MDF
Very good product and easy to use and quick drying time
Worked really well on some old mdf kitchen doors I was repurposing. Very quick to apply and dry.
Great sealer for MDF. Very rapid drying. Even one light coat is sufficient for paint or varnish. Bought the 1 litre version as its more economical
Excellent stuff!... used 2 tins to seal MDF bathroom cabinets before painting .... wouldn't use anything else
Takes a lot of coats to seal MDF. I'm sure there are better option out there.
