Wanted to improve the life of a new shed, particularly the floor and roof panels, this was the most suitable product I could find at a reasonable cost. Easy to apply, seemed to go a long way for 1 L, the main drawback is it needs to be applied above 10 degrees C so I had to do it in my garage with a heater on. Only time will tell if it’s any good as a preservative but generally happy for what I payed.
Bought this to protect new wooden fence panels and the gravel boards they rest on. I don’t know how effective it will be but it states it waterproofs timber
Outstanding product, mixes and brushes on well, like water off a ducks back and didn’t leave timber looking like it was painted with Marmite.

Wanted something I could use in a spray gun but was told it would be too thick, but it wasn't. Nice and thin easy to apply, milky look to it but goes on clear. Soaks in well and dries quickly. Good value too.
Excellent value product does what it says on the tin
As other reviewers have said it's very watery. I applied it easily to bare wood on a bench. Time will tell if it's sufficiently water repellent.

After stirring, this still stayed quite thin. Was easy to apply and was absorbed quite rapidly, so no runs. Drying time is very quick, so saw why the instructions say use largest brush you can. The advantage is you can overcoat without hanging around. Tested after a few hours with a water spray and it was beading/repelling the water. Pleased with the result

I didn't use this on fencing or shed, I had built show jump wings & poles & planks. The wood was tanalised however sawing the wood to shape gave the jumps a potential issue over years of being left out in weather so I painted this shed clear on all of the saw cuts. I'll only know after years exactly how good the 'Rustins' is. Looks good at the moment.
Great stuff! Easy to apply and clean up. Good coverage on timber which had not been treated for several years. Final appearance like natural wood.
Used for my small shed should of got the 5ltr goes on really well doesn’t smell and quick drying I’ll be buying this again but 5ltr
