Goes on the wood really well and the more layers you do the dark it gets. Recommend this wood stain.
Took 3 coats to cover but OK in the end. Brushed well, non drip and dried within half hour.
This is my “go to” brand of coloured varnish. It goes on well, dries quickly and leaves a good lasting finish. I highly recommend.
Good coverage and as per tin description, richly coloured stain true to tin picture, second coat almost unnecessary on very weathered parquet tiles but added all the same as more than enough left, available to collect same day also a reason for purchase.

Decided to go for the litre tin , works out as a money saver & it does last if kept inside your home , sealed after use .. This product is water based & drys quick & looks great once finished all over . Definitely recommend 👌

Our bench was looking tired. I looked at different wood stains and their reviews and settled on Rustins. Pleased I did. The bench looks like new. Also there’s enough in the tin to do it all again next year if needed.

Looked a little redish on first coat but after giving it a second coat and allowing it to dry it did have a dark oak colour
