Followed instructions on tin for preparation but the paint just wouldn’t take to the metal surface toolstation staff were great I got a refund for the product
Great product metal paint, leave a bive smooth finish, a little thin so takes about four coats to get a final cover. Easy clean brush with water.
Reasonable price but needed 4 coats to cover the metal properly. Easy to use and great to be able to wash brush in water after use.
Covers well and seems to be hard-wearing. Washes out easily too.
Bought white satin paint for a light galvanised metal frame. Despite thorough cleaning preparation the finished paintwork was easily scratched off in use. Also, very poor opacity requiring several coats. I should have paid more for a decent product.

Did the job very well. Used on some vintage seed drills. Cleaned and prepared them with a wire brush and added 1 coat, and 2nd coat was more a touch up. 2 coats more than enough.
The paint can appear a bit thick but brushes on fine. Also a good price.

The paint is so faint it is transparent, totally unusable. We needed hammerite to paint some GWR letters on a cast iron railway bench, but only 2.5 litres was available for a small joib.
So I got this. Totally not fit for the purpose, it is transparently thin,
It seams Ok. For a small tin its expensive. I will just have to see how it lasts
Looks okay ,time will tell how it last.Easy to apply and dries quick managed three coats in one day if you start early in morning.

It’s ok for the price, it’s twice the amount of some others and a bit cheaper, but it is a thinner paint so it requires two coats to cover nicely.

Unlike another well known metal paint, Rustin's is water based and so brushes are easy to clean. It applies and covers well. 2 coats covered but I used 3.
I liked the shade of green.
Ordered paint online only to find the next day they didn’t have it, but instead of emailing me to let me know they hav’nt got it and there system was showing they had one. I had to rush around trying to source a can from somewhere else or have to cancel my job
Easy to use and safe. Good satin finish. Needs 3 coats if sprayed.
This is otherwise metal paint I've ever used. Even after 2 coats it's still awful. Thought I'd try it as quick drying. Waste of money and time. Save your money and pay the bit extra for a better quality.
