Obviously very good oil but does very easily remain tacky if you over do the second or third coat
Used the rustins Danish Oil on a old natural Mahogany windowsill , really brought it back to life, its a great product 👌
Good oil for timber drys nice and flat, really brings the wood to life.
Pricey but good quality, very easy to apply to planed and sanded oak.
Great product, always does the job and usually in stock!
The original and best. I've been using this on all my furniture projects for 35 years
Easy to apply with a cloth, brings out the woods natural grain.
Very nice Furniture oil . I used to renovate anOak bench that had been neglected outside for many years. After sanding I applied a few coats of Rustins Original Danish Oil and now it loks much better
Excellent oil for new oak. Three coats and it all looks amazing highlighting all the grain and hidden details otherwise not seen.
Good Danish Oil.
It went on easily and dried quickly - if a little expensive.
Excellent finish. Although takes quite a while to dry completely
My wife used this on the kitchen worktops, which we installed ten years ago. For various reasons, we were rejuvenating the kitchen, replacing a few items but retaining the worktops and window sill. The original Danish Oil had lasted well, but was carefully rubbed down, and given seven thin coats of new Rustins. She was well pleased with the result.
Love this stuff, have used it on my parquet floors, doors and furnture. Easy to work with, great results every time.
Great and prompt service. Rustins is by far the best danish oil available
Quality product as usual. Easy application and brings out the grain
Always used Rustins for my solid oak worktops. Look as good now as they did 15 years ago
Amazing product at a reasonable price. Coated the wood evenly and blended into the grain leaving a great coluor to the sanded wood.
First time using wood oils, having made some bases for mounting bench tools I thought I'd give this a try, applied using a rag it was quick and no brush to clean. Used 2 coats and the finish was fine for my needs. Will use a lot more in future where a full varnish isn't necessary.
Used this on a couple of furniture tops and it worked really well. Number if costs will depend on condition of wood etc of course but in my case only 2 coats were needed. Dried fast enough and the finish was as expected. Good stuff.
In my experience Rustins is the best Danish Oil, recommended to me by Worktop Express. Not the cheapest, though Toolstation is best value locally. The 500ml size is perfect to re-oil my worktops a couple of times a year.
