Hadn’t used Danish Oil before, found it easy to use although did need several coats to treat a garden chair.
This produce is just what was expected. Perfecto 👍 2 coats and my oak doors .now have a loverly colour and seal .
There are different grades of Danish oil from different manufacturers available. This brand is good quality and if you gone to all the trouble to prepare a peice of wood give it a couple of coats of this Danish Oil and it will make it all worth while. It just makes wood look great and lasts years!
Great oil, for indoor and outdoor use. Both food and furniture safe, which makes it very versatile 100% recommended
Use this oil on our oak front door annually & it keeps it in good condition. Its cheaper to buy in this bigger tin & lasts for years even though its been opened
Easy to apply with soft cloth. Doors look great. Will purchase again.
Good price for Toolstation, nice finish, and goes on well. Its a bit glossier than I'd expected, but a vast improvement on the finish before
Best there is in this catagory - you get what you pay for in life and this is the best.
Excellent quality oil, used on old oak beams that had been sandblasted to remove layers of paint. Darkens wood slightly so try a test patch girst to check finish.
Soaked in easy and looks excellent. Went a lot further than the tin said.
works well on my worktops nice finish with a soft sheen
great for the job needed enough to complete our very important job
This is the bees knees. The oil is great goes on easy with a normal paint brush.
I have used this for many years. It’s easy to apply and provides a good long lasting food/toy safe finish.
This stuff is amazing. I painted it on with a brush to wooden chairs with thick vaneer layers, the layers did not raise at all. The oil has completely soaked it and formed a good surface layer defence.
Easy to apply and good finish. Kitchen worktops look great.
I love wood and after trying several oils, I think that Rustins Origional Danish Oil provides the longest lasting protection.
An excellent product in a handy-sized tin for the bigger project (in this case, sealing some MDF shelving courtesy of Tufferman). Good price and good service from Toolstation.
Oil garden furniture I’ve used this danish oil several times for kitchen worktops and table and for garden benches (oak and mahogany slats on cast iron ends). It’s a long job applying six layers and allowing to dry between coats but durability is excellent. On this occasion I. Was doing a light sand and a couple of top up coats. Very easy to apply and rejuvenated the beauty of the wood.
Will use again
Used this every year and it keeps garden furniture pristine . Good price too
