Time will tell how good the product is as I have used this on a new wooden arch we have just fitted
This product seemed to penetrate the wood well with acceptable odour. Only time will tell if it is effective
Place the drum down and it split, leaked everywhere. Way too messy to take back as it ate through bags.
£40 in the bin.
Rustins wood preserver is great for use on outdoor timber and decking and wood especially when it is still a bit damp. Also doesn’t matter if it rains shortly afterwards.
Seems expensive ok but I cant know for several years if it works
Great penetration and seems to soak well i to the wood. A bit pricey though
Applied well to decking in conjunction with a top coat of decking oil. Time will tell if this provides protection.
Great company very good prices very helpfull staff almost always got what you want on the day.
Seems to apply okay, but the nozzle is terrible - splashes everywhere. Which is not good because the preservative is poisonous to cats, which I didn't realise when I bought it. Once it's soaked in to wood that should not be an issue; but it makes it difficult to apply safely.
Great product. Very easy to apply and good coverage.
As their advert says it does exactly what it says on the tin!
prolongs life of both soft and hardwood. I always treat new wood (even pre-treated) and then every 4-5 years. Very rarely have to replace any timber
Used for some timber replaced on garden shed. Easy to apply colourless when dry easy to
Paint over.
Searched the net for a quality wood preserver and decided on this one. Both renowned paint shops had none in stock yet Toolstation had plenty and at a better price! Bonus!
We used this product to prepare and preserve the wood of our new garden building before painting. Good coverage, easy to apply and not too stinky!
Not fit for purpose as it is going on wood. It has been returned.
very good service, in stock & an excellent product
Fairy thin consistency but appeared to soak in well to my wood. Would recommend 3 coats for complete protection
I have applied this to my shed for two years running. Excellent product. Easy to apply (brush), soaks straight into the wood. Water based, feels wax like on the fingers. Brushes and equipment wash easily under running water. I feel confident in this product, time will tell…
New fencing / just sprayed with sprayer - no messing and when it rained you could see droplets. Not the cheapest but well worth it.
