These router bits are very good value, little 3mm one quite delicate though so you obviously cant push it hard.
Broke off part way though the job. Very weak, was only cutting soft wood at a depth of 6mm
There is a reason for its price. I bought two cutters, even on small cuts, 2mm depth, both broke after two cuts.
Beware! You get what you pay for! These are shockingly poor quality, I bought two, with a premonition that they might be pants, and I was right, the first one snapped at the base of the cutter as did the second one, I was only following a template, do not buy.
Absolute rubbish , lasted 15secs and snapped. Used to channel a grove in a chipboard floor. Set depth of cut to 3mm and it snapped just having cut a 10cm groove.
For £1.38 I suppose I was expecting too much. I bought it to cut some 30mm x 6 mm deep slots in laminated chipboard, it broke on the second cut.
This item lasted 5 minutes and fell apart waste of time and money guess thats what you get when you by cheap parts!
I was desperate for 3mm Router bit to finish. Bought 2. One lasted 5cm before snapping the other 10cm. It was soft wood and I put minimal load on the bit. Pay cheap get mega cheap
not the sharpest or long lasting of bits, but at the price they are not too bad. They did the job I was tackeling and proved accurate. This left me happy with my purchace.
Broke within 3cm of use. Purchased 4 of these to do a job as my current one was getting abit well worn. Didnt expect these to last very long but didnt expect them to break almost instantly.
It did the job nicely for the price it cost it was amazing, used it to carve a wooden plate it was very easy to use
Complete rubbish-snapped on first use. There’s a reason why it cost £1.80 as opposed to around £5 for other makes.
I bought it to make some precision keyhole slots in some plastic for invisible hanging the slots were rather generous. i did a plunge into MDF with it and got a 4.5 mm hole, checked with a drill bit. A vernier revealed the the "diameter" from the edge of the blade to the back of the bit was 3.2mm. I checked my Trend router and the bit was running true: bit centre was rock stable. I haven't needed the 4mm but I bought at the same time yet. Fortunately I can get away with what it's giving me but if you need a 3mm groove, don't buy this one. Its one redeeming feature is it's dirt cheap and i only want it for really light stuff, but be aware of this shortcoming too.
Used, Worked, Then I snapped it, my fault forcing, but done the job & cheap!!
I was concerned about the bad reviews, but I thought it can’t be that bad. I cut a 3mm grove into MDF and it after about 10 inches it became blunt. Thankfully I bought a second one. I took it much slower to avoid over heating it. Snapped after about 12 inches.
Does the job! It was difficult to find a small straight router bit, but toolstation have a great range.
Regrettably, my experience with the product was less than satisfactory, as both pieces encountered issues immediately upon use. Despite my hopes for a successful outcome, the bits unfortunately failed to meet expectations. I hope this feedback proves helpful for future improvements
I had one, it snapped so bought 2 to quickly replace, both snapped almost immediately. So i bought another brand and payed more, it did the job much better
Not good, broke after 100mm cut, low depth and moving slowly. Drove to the next nearest Toolstation to buy another and same happened. Cheap for a reason. Do not recommend.
Sadly this bit broke within 3 minutes not what I had hoped for obviously
