Much nicer to use, although if you’re in a rush it’s not the gun for you, because it’s a lot smoother to use, the silicone is squeezed out a lot slower, I don’t mind and the tool is generally good quality build.
Could be improved by the addition of a pictograph instruction as sheet.
It only has two knobs, the function of one I discovered by accident. I am still unsure of the full functionality of the other.
Excellent sturdy skeleton gun with anti drip. Higher priced but will last a long time
Super, wish I had got one years ago, easy to squeeze lever for thin or thick sealants and flow rate very controllable
very good easy fire stoping done .. all day use safe hand ..
After having this product a short period of time it's sticks.
When you click the off position the adhesive still flows out so I click it again then the adhesive tube drops out of gun can't see any point to have revolving main body of the gun
I will be returning this soon as I can
Looks good not for me
Its initial cost is high but for the flow control. It’s very good. Solid structure with smooth trigger action. Highly recommend
Gorilla Mastic Gun worth paying extra for. Best mastic gun I’ve ever had.
Good quality caulk gun will hopefully last, bit pricey for what it is.
I bought this to use with a very thick adhesive. I had tried to use my basic c£8 gun but it was way out of its depth but with this the job was easy. I am not sure about the non drip function the gun seems to drip whatever setting it is on, but I am not bothered about that.
Not cheap at 2 or 3 times the price of a cheap gun, but worth it for its extra features and build quality. It also makes it easier to use and get better/neater results.
best mastic gun I have ever had, very controllable
Does exactly what it says and is much better easier to use than cheaper competitors.
Fed up of breaking my hand with the cheaper ones, especially using some of the stix all types of thicker adhesive. This gives the extra power and works well. Only used once but I liked the way you can adjust the retraction of the pusher when you let go of the trigger.
It would be helpful if some instructions were provided about which are the best settings to use instead of having to resort to trial and error. Overall this is no better than a basic sealant/adhesive gun costing £8. I trust that it will last the twenty five years of its guarantee and that the manufacturer will still be around to honour that guarantee if necessary.
I am VERY happy with this gun, I have been using it on a daily basis for applying glue and silicone, it works perfectly and I really like the different trigger ratios !
Well worth the extra cost. Smooth action and good control. A league above a standard gun. Wish I'd bought one years ago.
Very good sealant gun. The trigger is smooth as butter and easy on the wrist. I have had cheaper guns in the past most of which had very stiff triggers. The build quality seems very good too. I would recommend this.
Nice gun but you'll need to adjust to using it compared to cheaper guns as you can't feel the pressure you are applying.
Use these guns all the time, this is the best one i have used for a long time, even the way its built, excelent value for money
