This tool provides a clean, easy cut through slate tiles, much better than cheaper alternatives. It made easy work of cutting to size so that more time could be spend on fitting. Quick delivery was an added bonus.
The service at diss toolstation is always outstanding
These are good, but they don't take long to become more blunt (or perhaps play) so it becomes 2 hands with very forceful pressure cutting cement roof tiles. Irrespective, prefer it to the dust storm using a small grinder.

Worked well roofing my summer house in slate. Cuts well though some of the thicker ones took a bit of effort! Love the hole punch!!!

Ok for cutting and holing thin Spanish type slates. Not so good with proper welsh slate.
Very reliable company, excellent serivice when unfortunately the tool was not suited to the job in hand. But often the service when something goes wrong is as important as the tool, so thought worth mentioning, really is 5 Star.
