The 38mm (1.1/2in) Roughneck Pro Series Bevel Edge Chisel is a substantial tool designed for heavy-duty construction and timber framing applications. This extra-wide blade provides maximum cutting capacity for large-scale mortising, structural timber work, extensive waste removal and demanding joinery tasks where speed and efficiency are crucial. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel and heat treated for long-life performance, this professional-grade chisel features a bevel edge blade with two cutting angles: a 25° ground angle and a pre-honed 30° angle for immediate use. The thru-tang design transfers striking force directly to the cutting edge for maximum effect and outstanding durability. The soft grip handle provides excellent comfort and control during heavy applications, whilst the heavy-duty end cap allows repeated striking. Supplied with a tip protector for safe storage and user protection.
