Use it for my coal bucket in the house. (All the ones for that purpose just bend at the handle/shovel join) This works great. Handle's a bit long for that purpose but does the job. Maybe I'll cut the handle down....

Very handy little shovel, it is strong, well built and very robust and looks like it a long time, perfect for working in tight spaces and small jobs where you don’t need to use a full size shovel. I think we are going to get plenty of use out of this little spade.

I am an active caver and as part of my pastime it involves exploring new potholes and caves. This means working in tight confined spaces in order to remove rubble and debris. I bought the Roughneck Micro Round Shovel to enable me to work in tight spaces. The product description was spot on and I'm 100% satisfied with it. The shovel is well made and robust enough to take the battering that it receives in digging out passageways. My application for this product is extreme to say the least however, if it will stand up to the rigors of caving exploration it will be more than good enough for day to day use.
