This item is not fit for purpose as one of tines bent on the first use. Garden forks should be made from forged steel which doesn't bend. This is a poor quality import. Returned for a refund.
Seems sturdy enough and shorter handle is useful. It is a little heavier than I expected, for use when kneeling, but it's still ok.
Although this is an Industry, grade fork, because of its short stature. It is ideal for raised bed, gardening

Wonderful piece of gardening equipment, especially on raised beds. It is stronger and more robust than I had first imagined and is a must in any garden.

Brilliant
This is exactly what it says - it's shorter than usual though the business end itself is more or less full size. No idea what makes it 'roughneck' but it's working really well for me on waist height raised beds where a normal size shaft is too long unless I climb onto the soil itself.
