This is flat all around, so not profiled for different board types. It works well enough but need to be careful when knocking boards not to chip the tongues.

It’s a block for knocking. Use on its own or with a mallet when tapping in the long sided of the board. Slides well and if has a nice solid feel about it. Probably pay for its self quickly if you do much flooring

I have had several knocking blocks but this is far better than anything I had. This is a solid piece of tools for laying laminate or wooden floor.
Very useful tool, wish I had bought it years ago. It makes installing laminate flooring a doddle. The only thing I will say is be careful with your mallet, it’s not a very thick knocking block so it can damage your mallet when hitting it. I fully expect the knocking block to far outlive any mallet, it’s well made and perfect for the job.

Useful bit of kit for nudging the laminate flooring boards together for a snug, gap free fit without damaging the edges of the boards. I used to just use off-cuts to whack the planks together, but this block is so much quicker and easier, especially in tight spaces.
