Ideal for preparing holes for fence posts in stony ground where the post hole digger couldn't get through. My soil has a lot of big stones in and the bar performed well, either breaking the stones/rocks by smashing them with either end of the bar, or helping to move them in the hole enough to free them to dig them out.
Brilliant, just what i needed for old shrubs and Bamboo. Made short work of them both.
If you can't get a digger and need to use manual tools this one will save you time. It helped me get old washing line posts out the ground buried deep and full of lime stone. It chewed through it all like it was loose soil.

Did the job of helping to dig holes for espallier posts very well. Group is very stony so great for breaking up of leavering out of hole.

Versatile piece of kit. Solidly made and strong. Quite heavy though. Found it useful to lift a couple of tree abd bush roots which were deeply embedded whist reorganising part of the garden. The chisel part is particularly effective at cutting through roots.

Excellent product for a very reasonable price. I used to use my neighbour’s wrecking bar and it was an old, slightly bent and very heavy one that wrecked me. This one is a good weight and goes straight and true into the concrete lumps.
Bought this to dig out a bunch of concrete where fence posts have rotted. It is an absolute beast and will come in so handy down the line. Very happy 😊
It's a 5ft metal bar with a spike on one end and a chisel at the other - it does exactly what you expect it too.
Great tool quite heavy. I have used this a few times now and it is fantastic for removing ivy
