Well built spade that is excellent for digging out fence post holes. Good sharp edge for easier cutting into the earth.
The spade seems relatively sturdy but is yet to be put under any great load. I broke the last all steel one.
I like that it is light. The blade is a decent thickness but again time will tell.
So far it has coped with the heavy clay we have.
It doesn't feel as substantial as my last one but as I said it's lighter.
It’s very light, which I like, seems sturdy, I’ve been abusing it since I got it and it’s taken it without issue.
The stickers on the shovel bit are stuck on with some serious adhesive, ideally I would have loved to remove them before using the tool but it would have taken me a week. This means it now leaves little bits of the sticker as I use it, no big deal, but is there really a need to stick those on so hard?!
Decent shovel. I was surprised how wide the top of the shovel was compared to it's tip which made it harder to excavate the trench I was working on. But decent quality and big help in speeding up the job.
Really study and well made, looks like its going to last
Used it for digging holes for fence posts, along with my post digger. Any time I hit roots or hard ground this shovel made easy work of it. Made the job so much quicker and easier

I am amazed at the quality of the spade for the price. It's absolutely solid and well made. I cannot imagine this spade breaking. It made digging the hole a lot easier.

Good design, perfect for the job to dig one foot deep footings for four 4x4 posts. Allows to bore a narrow footing unlike standard spade. Reasonably priced

A well made tool. I bought it to dig holes for fence posts ant it was really good, relatively light, very strong and with a good cutting edge
Nice n light and strong. Great wee tool. Doe the job with a lot less weight than a full steel one.
