Brilliant for digging holes through heavy stone filled clay soil. It is heavy so gives you a good workout. Good having the mushroom top. Would highly recommend.
This tool does well on, clay, concrete and brickwork.
A really versatile piece of kit. Originally bought for digging out post holes but use anywhere I need to break up hard ground where a spade just won’t ‘cut it’. Be warned though, it’s heavy!

Good weight and balance, quite bendy though, if it were a little more rigid I’d give it 5 stars.
This is a solid piece of kit and worked really well breaking up and getting up a large patio.

Really useful tool for digging out fence post concrete, creating borders, etc. This has become my go to tool anytime I need to dig a hole in rocky ground.

Had two big clumps of firmly embedded bamboo to remove and seriously thought I would need to hire a mini digger when nothing else seemed to shift them. The local fence guy recommended the digging bar and what a superb bit of kit! While still a hard job, the Roughneck cut through roots and was strong enough to lever the clumps out of the ground. Will see how it continues to stand up to more root removal and the few deep holes required for bushes and a water feature...
Very heavy duty, strong, long and robust bar. It is single ended so can be struck by a big hammer if needed. Perfect for dealing with stones in post holes, levering just about anything and breaking hard ground. Just don't expect to use it as a javelin!
