If you're not directly in the trade, finding the 'perfect' tool for the job can take a little research and that's where Toolstation's website is a great help.
I'd given some of the floorboard nails I need to extract a go with a crowbar and a skirting board removal tool but they weren't shifting.
A couple of whacks with a hammer on this baby and out they came. THIS is the right tool for the job.
I must be very hard on some of my tools as I had this item before and managed to snap the middle of the main part of the bar and then on a much earlier version I broke a part of the nose off. All 3 of these were on proper Roughneck product! I must be fair in the duty I expect though as sometimes a smaller bar such as this gives a good starting point for finishing off with a crowbar.
A great little bar for removing nail gun nails without too much damage, handy to keep in your pouch
Decent claw bar, takes a battering. I was using it to pull up nails from floorboards. The claws at both ends are fairly big so can do a bit of damage to the boards, especially with smaller nails/nail heads. I ended up buying a different one for this job which had a smaller claw. Would definitely be more suitable for taking apart pallets and the like.
Bought this claw bar to replace the one I lost, haven't used it yet
This is great for getting lots of sizes of nails out of awkward places. Ideal if you are lifting floorboards and don't want to break them in the process.
Floor in casting broke in a week will be returning for refund
Average Nail Bar, not the best but not the worst, lost my previous one and needed one quickly, will be ordering a different one. As this just doesn’t suit my needs for the size of it
I loved this bar with all my heart
just a very handy tool to have
I’ve always struggled to get nails out of floor boards without damaging the boards too much. I saw this in toolstation catalogue and bought it. Just put the hucked end close to the nail and hit the end with a hammer then prise the nail out. I’m glad I bought this well recommended.
Had since March, broke in may
I bought this a few years ago. I found it quite versatile in lifting nails from floor boards. Until today when one of the claws broke lifting a 50mm nail. I was just my hand
Bought it and returned few days later completely unusable bends as if it was made of rubber
