Roughneck 15" (388mm) Utility Bar

Bought this to remove some skirting boards. Looks robust and certainly helped with getting the boards off. The end is sharp enough to get into the space between the board and the wall and then lever the boards off.

Far too soft and flexible, I bought this bar to lift floorboards on a Rewire. I fortunately it’s incredibly soft, the first bit to go was the small kick on the flat end, after that was the right angle end.

Don’t buy if you have to put some force into it as it will just bend.

Wish I had bought one of these years ago. Bought it for leavering up floorboards, but still haven't got around to that job. In the meantime I had to remove a wooden gate where the screws would not budge. Applying pressure via this tool under the screwheads while I used a screwdriver did the trick. Great little tool.

Used for removing plywood subfloor and done the job no problem.

Seems quite sturdy. I took apart an old wooden Pallet and it did the job easily.

Excellent piece of kit. Replaces one that was "borrowed". There is a smaller one in the caralogue so be careful ordering.

This pry bar is really good. I am using a pair of them to lift floorboards and with some pincers de nail as I go. I am glad I bought them I think I would have struggled without them. The low price made me doubt the quality but they are very good.

Enabled me to sympathetically dismantle a pallet. Just what I needed.

I purchased two of these so as to carefully lever nails from tongue and groove boarding to avoid splitting the boards. This enabled me to re fix the existing boards to new replacement timber supports.

This worked well and saved me replacing the T&G boarding. These tools were kinder to the wood than a claw hammer and I now have two ideal floorboard lifting tools for my plumbing activities.

Had to take up some carpet grippers and this did the job easily.

Good bar, use it a lot and still in good condition

This is just a fantastic tool to have around, purchased it to remove carpet tracks and skirting boards and it will be useful in many tasks around the home.

Using it to dismantle wooden pallets to use at my allotment.

Useful for floorboard lifting and carpet grip removal

Excellent bit of kit - solid and just the correct size for replacing a couple of broken tiles on my garage roof. I was able to remove the single nail holding each tile in place with ease and I was then able to insert my new replacement tiles using the prying funtion of the utilty bar to lift the surrounding tiles. Good value for the money.
