Relatively easy to fit . Worth spending time reading instructions and measure at least twice before drilling holes. The covers that go over the plate that screws to the wall keep popping off , so may need to glue .
How do you fix the handrail to the wall the brackets will fix but the rail holders will not fix, the screw to fix them is against the wall and is not accessible..?
Easy to fit, not the greatest quality due to dodgy paint finish on the support/brackets and not enough clearance cover caps to stem on the brackets.
Handrail, in a few sections to make shipping easier. Ok but difficult to fit in a perfectly straight line.

This handrail is excellent in every way bar one thing , its totally let down by the Alen keys that secure the bar to the brackets, firstly they are far too small and they tear off the thread making them not fit for purpose
Had to get a friend to install but once done was perfect. Although the size of drill to be used was on the rawlplugs supplied it was not on the instructions.
A really good hand rail only spoilt by the useless rawl plugs and the fixing screws need to be 5-10mm longer to get a solid fit. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars
Senior moment I'm afraid ! Looking to order a handrail knowing I would have to reduce it in length from 3.6m to 3.2m to suit the space that I had to fill, but on delivery I realised that I had ordered a steel one rather than the timber one I thought I was ordering ! Returned to the local Toolstation store in Sighthill, Edinburgh and they processed a refund without any problem. To be fair the one we received looked to be of a decent quality but there you go !
Good quality, good instructions for installation. Probably best if you’re good at DIY to install though, because I had to make 2 modifications.
1) One hole on one of the brackets was too small to take the supplied Allen screw, so it wouldn’t tighten. I had to drill the hole slightly bigger, then it was OK.
2) One of the end brackets was a bit loose and wobbly - not what you want with a handrail! Tightening the screw at the back didn’t help. So I had to fix it with a strong glue/filler, screw it back together again and leave it to set overnight.
It’s all fine now and looks good - but if I hadn’t been able to fix these issues, I’d have had to take it back.
Excellent product. Everything needed to secure included in packet. Value for money and looks good too. Would definitely recommend.

Very sturdy, easy to put together, fixings we’re not up to the job so I used some longer screws and better plugs.
