Haven't been able to use it as it doesn't come with a regulator and Toolstation doesn't have any in stock
Torch is fine although item was received with a bent adjuster which I can fix. The most frustrating part of it all is the torch doesn't fit directly to a gas bottle. The manual for the torch says 3/8" thread so I ordered a 3/8" through coupler to attach to my existing regulator but the threads didn't match. I then went direct to Rothenberger and after a short time they sent me some part numbers for additional items I needed to allow the torch to connect to a gas bottle. For anybody reading this review you do not need to buy all of these, choose which item fits your needs; for me I went with the Rothenberger/Sievert regulator. Search online for the following part numbers by Sievert: Sidn20056x OR Si305401 OR Si306311. I have deliberately written the part numbers in lower case to avoid confusion. The connector on a gas bottle is known as a "POL" connector and most of these gas fittings are a reverse left hand thread, FYI. I hope this review helps somebody.
Good reliable ideal for what we need
Works well. The last one lasted 5 years before the valve on the handle broke but it had been left, undercover but, exposed to the sea air, all that time. Will keep this one in the shed.
good quality item as described and good price
Really surprised this is for sale. Bought it, went to Calor for gas and regulator. They told me the pipe is too small for standard and the regulator joint will not fit any regulator. Hence, useless in UK. Got money back no problem though.
Torch great, but packaging poor (a single sheet if bubble wrap) which can cause damage to thread if dropped in transit and make product unusable. I had to return and order a replacement which was delivered in the same poor packaging but fortunately had survived transit
